Social Software and more…

This blog was installed as a way to promote the thoughts of "my generation" on social software - especially with regard to its possible use in education. My name is Taiga Brahm (yes, I know it's a weird name). For my PhD degree, I recently moved to St. Gallen - a magnificent city in the northeast of Switzerland, fairly close to the Lake Constance. I'm currently employed by the Swiss Centre for Innovations in Learning (SCIL) at the University of St. Gallen. I'm originally from the city Bingen at the beginning of the beautiful "Welterbe Mittelrheintal" (Unesco World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley). After studying Educational Management, Business Administration and English at the Universities of Mainz/Germany and Gent/Belgium, I worked at the Center for Distance Studies and Continuing Education of the University of Kaiserslautern where I first became acquainted with hands-on online teaching and learning.

To find out more about my professional carreer have a look at my profile on the SCIL website.
